BLUEMOONSTONE CREATIONS Jewelry Designer, Pamela Forman, graduated from the Rhode Island School of Design with a BFA and lives in Providence, RI, where she’s been designing jewelry for 25 years. While employed as a senior jewelry designer, she made her first journey to the magical land of Bali on a yoga retreat in 2008. This transforming experience, immersed in the Balinese culture, ignited a spark, and after returning to Bali for the next two years, she had an epiphany that she could connect with some of the talented artisans there, who could handcraft her designs. With her focused goal, she passionately designed 30 pieces, based around her favorite gemstone, Rainbow Moonstone, and in 2012, she launched Bluemoonstone Creations. 

Since then, she has traveled to Bali yearly to work closely with her team of highly skilled artisans, who handcraft her designs from her detailed renderings. Pamela’s collection has expanded to over 180 Sterling Silver and 18K Gold Vermeil pieces, which ship worldwide. She has hosted over 230 Trunk Shows at Bloomingdale’s and currently exhibits her jewelry at art festivals and Trunk Shows in the Northeast. In 2020, she won the Joseph G.E. Knight Award for Entrepreneurial Excellence.

With her solid foundation in design, creativity, and visionary eye for beauty, Pamela strives to capture the essence of Bali in her jewelry and infuses each piece with positive energy.

Each one of Pamela’s pieces begins with detailed renderings from her studio in Rhode Island. Inspired by Bali, Art Nouveau, yoga, Astrology, and a love of Moonstones, her detailed style embodies bohemian spirit with Victorian charm. While specializing in Rainbow Moonstones, she also incorporates Tibetan Turquoise, Labradorite, Ethiopian Opal, Baltic Amber, and Carnelian. Her high-quality powerful gemstones are naturally infused with beneficial healing properties to enlighten the spirit, bringing harmony, balance, love, and protection. Each piece is completely handmade, including the high-quality chains, giving them a rich, dramatic, one-of-a-kind essence. Most of all, each piece is meant to create personal self-expression, adorn the body, and radiate beauty.

We are truly fortunate to work with our talented and cherished team in Bali, who have become an extended family over the past decade. Our collaboration is built on mutual respect, equality, and a shared commitment to excellence. The three head managers, Nyoman, Srining, and Dayu (pictured with Pamela), and the facility's dedicated owner, Janet, are all women, and everyone on the staff is treated equally, regardless of religion or caste. They thrive on being respectful to all people. 

In their tranquil gardens, they grow their own vegetables, inviting the staff to partake in the bounty and access to an endless supply of pure, filtered water. Their children are warmly welcomed and provided a designated play area. Moreover, our team enjoys full benefits and ample vacation time, ensuring they can cherish moments with their loved ones.

Our Australian facility owner in Bali, Janet, is deeply dedicated to the growth and welfare of our remarkable team, nurturing their well-being and fostering their professional development.

Filled with Balinese sunshine, the environment radiates serenity. Each day commences with heartfelt prayer offerings and rituals, expressing gratitude for the land and creating a sacred sanctuary for protection and prosperity. Twice a month, they unite for the Full Moon Ceremony and New Moon Ceremony, where they offer reverence, seek blessings, and embark on a journey of spiritual purification. 

At the heart of our Bali team lies a harmonious blend of tradition, community, and dedication. We are working together to create something extraordinary.
